I can't help feeling that the Traveller's ship in the vidoc bears a striking resemblance Didact's crypt (or whatever that thing on Requiem is called) in Halo 4.

Don't get me wrong, think the game looks great and will more than likely pick it up. But just makes me wonder if Bungie have more input into Halo 4 than Microsoft would want us to know.

Well since this game is coming out for ps3, 360, ps4, and nexbox, and not pc then you can bet this is being shown on current gen hardware. Maybe we'll be shocked on the 20th at sony's event and they'll show ps4 gameplay of Destiny. I mean they did do the reveal 3 days before the ps4 announcement. It's probably gonna just be wishful thinking.

Oh, I know they won't more than likely, but it would be awesome if they did. At least now it seems like it's not timed exclusive for 360/nexbox, so that's good.

Basically what I expected. Given the opportunity, funding, freedom, and support to evolve the FPS just as Halo succeeded 90s PC FPS, they make a weird hybrid multiplayer thing that emphasises things people can't wait to get away from: anonymous co-op and forced online.

This does sound rather epic, combining the best parts of a single player experience with the good bits of an MMO.

Having said that, I need some confirmation it will be on a console I own, a release date and some gameplay footage before I get too excited
