Creepy, but would anyone be discussing it otherwise?

I can see the appeal of reaching into a freshly decapitated goats carcass to grab entrails so I can eat them...

Wow do people really fantasize about doing such things?

beh, this isn't really anything they killed a goat, whoop de do, people were invited to eat it so no big deal,

seriously compared to acclaim's retardry around burn out and shadowma, encouraging reckless behavior and grave desicration, that's bad, slaughtering a goat, I could just see if this happened in the US,

heh, sony's corporate HQ would probably be burned down by animal rights screw balls

I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!

NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem isn't the killing of a goat... Its that they leave it sitting there with its head dangling by a string and invite people to eat out of it... Don't make it an issue of morality... Its just an issue of good taste. Generally you want to build hype with press events, not reopen both the violent videogames debate and the animal rights debate.

But honestly... From the people who gave us possessed dolls, "This is Living," "All I want for Xmas is a PSP," and "White is Coming," a dangling goat head isn't so surprising.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

Just the thought of this is enough to make my stomach queasy, I don't care who thought it up, it's just sick.

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

If you've seen some of the european PS3 comercials... holy crap. I dont see how they could be put on the air. Sony would be sued, and would LOOSE, if they saw the light of day in america. Sony Europe is totally wack. (in what they do)

However I really dont see a problem with this. It was an authentic Greek Party. Who cares. I wish I could've been there tho.

EDIT: The Sony Europe comercials... are really weird. I like them, but american culture would NOT accept them.

Erk is right on this one. Even though I would find that scenery unsettling, has anybody thought of the fresh offal that contestents eat on fear factor? Granted they do not show the dead animal but an animal would have been slaughtered to produce such a thing.

I wouldn't like to see a cow killed, whether it be shoot, beheaded or gutted but I know I wouldn't have any qualms about eating a hamburger.

Of course hus is the only pretending there is nothing wrong with this. If Nintendo or Microsoft did this, he would be calling for their heads for the sake of the goat's.
