It'd be way too easy to counter Apple creating an iOS marketplace on Apple TV. Microsoft just needs a better XBLA system for indie developers - something better than their XBLIG program.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

This man is a genius. I don't see how anyone can refute what he said. Seriously, can anyone argue against him? I'd love to see someone try. Nat Brown is my new Lord. I shall pray to him everytime I breathe.
I always get a good laugh from the thought of Apple consoles. The mentioning of them makes it seem like they'd wipe out the competition within one generation wen they'd probably fuck themselves over by doing something similar to that Pippin. The only entrance they'd have is through cell phones and ipads, but let's be honest here, when it comes to home entertainment, are people really looking for a touch screen experience? I mean, Wii U didn't exactly burn up the charts after all. Apple may have mobile dominance, but they aren't quite the god they think they are in the home just yet. Let's not forget how long it took for Apples to catch up to pc gaming in terms of library and availability. Would Apple even bother netting some exclusives?

Why haven't apple done anything about this yet? Seems like a no brainer...

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
I'm not sure I understand. Yes, consoles should be a lot more open in terms of content from indie developers, but does he really think that alone will catapult Apple to the top? A mountain of crap games? No. People who want to play those games are largely content with phones and tablets, there is no need to play them on a television.

A: No, they can't.
B: Article says Xbox, Playstation and Wii, not just Xbox.

Apple has 130 billion in the bank and no debt. They could destroy a lot of things by simply buying them out. Xbox brand however isn't something that they would be able to touch as that is one of the few consumer facing successes Microsoft has and they aren't in need of cash.

yup, just like how they destoryed things by making their own map app and Apple T.V.. which btw, I asked a sales representative at Apple store "So I have a PS3, what benefit would an Apple T.V bring?". His reply "None"
