Don't forget Metal Gear Solid 4 on 360, I can't wait for that one!

Yeah, ask Nintendo. And take a wild guess what the answer will be.
Why so much talk about these games right now?
all i'm saying is company's pay millions of dollars for exclusives all the time , doesn't mean they stay exclusive. in platinum case it's a bit different, cause nobody would pay for those games except nintendo, not even sega the company that own them.

i don't know this but the memory bandwidth is 2x faster on 360, thats even better then having 1 gb ram. |
It really isn't. Especially when that's bandwidth for both read and write on 360. Situations with more than half a gig in assets, of which there are sure to be many, will need to be re-engineered, similar to how COD was crammed down to 91MB of RAM for the Wii.

They asked Platinum Games, not Nintendo.

quote from beyond3d
Note that translucency does reduce the amount of occlusion in the scene, meaning regardless of how the blending itself is handled the overall pressure on shading including texture fetch bandwidth is going to be higher than if those fragments were opaque (and early-Z is doing a good job). A game could, in theory, be texture bandwidth limited on Wii U where it wasn't on XBox 360 or PS3, due to having worse main memory bandwidth (if all the textures are coming from main memory), and in those cases increased pressure would make things worse.

Sorry Ninja, in this case you're just flat out wrong. You're confusing the concept of a console maker "money hatting" an existing third party game, which is financed by said company (as is the case with Resident Evil 4 for example, which was financed entirely by Capcom) with a game that's made with a 1st party's financing entirely.
Platinum Games DOES NOT have the money to finance their own projects. They are effectively a "free agent" gun for hire, and Nintendo is one doing the hiring in their case.
They own Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 about as much as Steven Spielberg owns the movie Jurassic Park ... he doesn't own sh*t, he was contracted by Universal Studios to direct the movie and was paid for his services as director, but the movie itself is owned by Universal Studios.
Same deal for Platinum, they get to work on these games and Nintendo pays their employees a contracted fee, and they deliver Nintendo a finished product. That's it. Nintendo has ownership of the product once it's finished and they can release it for the iPhone if they feel like it, but that's 100% their decision.

will does nintendo own the ips? if not what's to stop them from releasing a directers cut like ninja gaiden 3 razor blade.

Nintendo did not finance NG3 Razor Blade it was already developed for the PS3/360 anyway then ported, they merely published it in two markets.
And yes, when you buy The Wonderful 101, you will see on the box "copyright Nintendo/Platinum Games" or even just "copyright Nintendo".
Game Freak developed Pokemon for Nintendo, guess who owns the Pokemon trademark/franchise/IP though.
Maybe some different contract was negotiated for Bayonetta, but it's unlikely going by Kamiya's tweet, that basically confirms Nintendo is financing both projects, which means they would have to consent to those games being released on other platforms which will never happen.

pretty much the only note worthy exclusives the wiiu has coming up now ..hence the focus. The talk of going multiplat because most of the previous exclusives have gone multiplat now. I guess this clarifies it. But then again I don't think Platinum games own the Bayo IP (might be wrong here, please feel free to correct me)..if it's owned by SEGA and depending on the contract it could come..nothing Kamiya has influence over.
Anywho it's bad news for those who expected it to go multi I guess.
