all i'm saying is company's pay millions of dollars for exclusives all the time , doesn't mean they stay exclusive. in platinum case it's a bit different, cause nobody would pay for those games except nintendo, not even sega the company that own them.

Sorry Ninja, in this case you're just flat out wrong. You're confusing the concept of a console maker "money hatting" an existing third party game, which is financed by said company (as is the case with Resident Evil 4 for example, which was financed entirely by Capcom) with a game that's made with a 1st party's financing entirely.

Platinum Games DOES NOT have the money to finance their own projects. They are effectively a "free agent" gun for hire, and Nintendo is one doing the hiring in their case.

They own Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 about as much as Steven Spielberg owns the movie Jurassic Park ... he doesn't own sh*t, he was contracted by Universal Studios to direct the movie and was paid for his services as director, but the movie itself is owned by Universal Studios.

Same deal for Platinum, they get to work on these games and Nintendo pays their employees a contracted fee, and they deliver Nintendo a finished product. That's it. Nintendo has ownership of the product once it's finished and they can release it for the iPhone if they feel like it, but that's 100% their decision.

will does nintendo own the ips? if not what's to stop them from releasing a directers cut like ninja gaiden  3 razor blade.
