HAHAHAHA You funny. Smash Bros Brawl says hello!

Don't you read his post? "what coulda been"

And no, SBB is not the best fighting game this gen, ever heard of SF4, TTT2 or DOA5?

Yes I heard of them, I actually played them. I still hold my position.

I dont consider it a fighter, SSB is hardly a fighting game imo.

Please tell me how PASBR is a fighting game and SSBB isn't.

i said the same thing lol

Fuck, I've been ninja'd.

As much as I celebrate Sony's failures, because I'm a really mean fanboy, I still wish they can give it time and faith. Not seeing this as a cash cow, but as a baby who can grow up with a little more love and time spent on it. The potential is there, I hope Sony realizes this and see PASBR as an exciting addition to their IPs. They have to trust it. Not let it down because of one mistake.

Sadly it's all about business. I think sony would have shown more faith if they had previous success with the company..they didn't. A shame really

I looked it up online and linkdin says the company has around 51-200 employees or something. That's huge. The final product as far as polish and presentation goes didn't reflect that

that said I absolutely adore the gameplay..super system is fun as hell and all characters had a surprising amount of depth. So again I hope with Seth being part of SSM we will see a new take on the PS mascot brawler in the future..we need more western games in these genre

I dont consider neither fighting games, they're party brawlers.

Eventough I kinda dislike the game, I got both the platinum trophies on PS3 and Vita.

I couldn't agree more. Then again everything is about business now, isn't it? The beauty of our modern world...

Yoshida said they are going to focus on fewer titles from now on. As a gamer it makes me sad but I understand it makes more sense from a Business point of view. All we can do is hope for the best

oh and kotaku updated the article..superbot is not closing down

Kotaku updated their post with a statement:

UPDATE: In an e-mail, SuperBot's president David Yang responded to Kotaku's request for comment, saying that the company is "excited about beginning the next chapter of [their] future."

The full statement follows:

SuperBot Entertainment can confirm that the relationship with SCEA has ended on good terms. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to work on with Sony on Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, and are extremely proud of the work we have done. SuperBot Entertainment will continue working on projects that reflect our passion for games and our commitment to creating award winning titles. We are very excited about beginning the next chapter of our future and invite all of our fans and supporters to follow our journey.

obe has to wonder exactly how much a game like this could possibly cost.

This is sad the game isn't bad at all if you gave it a chance its quite fun. I hope this doesn't mean the end of the series and a more fleshed out with features and characters sequel does come out.
