Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo fans, Why do you hate Sony so much?

I don't hate Sony but I do dislike some of it's fans

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

I don't really hate Sony and their platforms. But what I do ''hate'' are the Sony-fanboys. I prefer them to call Sony-zombies because they're absolutely immune to logic reason. Remember how Nintendo got bashed 100x ultra when the 3DS did bad? How Sony would take over the world with their Jesus-successor ''Vita'' and Nintendo would die within a few years and deserve it, how they ruin gaming and only do gimmicks and never do online gaming in a proper way. Well, now the Vita is a big flop we only hear things like: 'a company doesn't deserve to suffer... competition is good for the industry... not all Vita games need online we get a good single player instead...(Uncharted and Modnation). Where were all those arguments in defense of Nintendo? And yet still they bash the 3DS and Wii U for being underpowered and ruin gaming. I CANT stand those guys really! And because of this, I still think the Vita's flop is justice, I really do. I always end up with a smile on friday when I see those Vita numbers. Those ignorant fanboys should learn.

When the PS4 is announced, the same thing will probably happen between Wii U and PS4 like Vita/3DS. Sony Zombies should realise it's about the games in this industry, not about power.

*laughs*

What do you do when you look at WiiU numbers each week, that are btw lower than Vita's at the same point in time?

Wii U numbers are only lower than Vita in Europe. Also, the Wii U is a new released console and new consoles never do outstanding at launch. Wii U has sold around 3,1 million in 3/4 months while Vita does 4,1 million in 1,5 year (laughs). Wii U hasn't had (good) new games in a few weeks what also explains the drop in numbers. Overall the Wii U sold way better than the 360 and PS3 in the same time (do your research). Judge a new console after a year or two please, when the real games are on the market (Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Monster Hunter 3, Mario games, Zelda games).

Sony is Doomed!

The Vita is 11 3/4 months in the US/Europe and 13.5 in Japan...

is it because Sony is the first one to beat you in the console wars. Or what?

LOL, I don't hate sony fans, but if I did ignorance would be a big reason. Often times when I talk to Sony fans, they speak so highly of their favorite franchises and shut out the quality of others. Gran Turismo fans can't accept that Forza Motorsport is just as good, if not a better game, Playstation All Star fans think that low budget clone is comparable to Smash Bros, and every time a major PS3 exclusive is released, it's automatically GOTY.

I like Sony, I like several of their franchises, although I liked 3rd party exclusives on PS1/2 a lot more then PS3's, I still think PS3 is an excellent system.

This is why in the future I will follow my strategy of buying a Nintendo console and a Sony console (I really hate MS after this gen). Great exclusives with a Nintendo system, and great third party games on a Sony platform, plus the ocassional great exclusive (I'm really liking InFamous).

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

@ pezus

1: Again, Wii U sold in a very limited time 75% of what Vita achieved in 1,1 years. There also hasn't release new good games after the release. People who bought Wii U only got one for the launch games. That explains the significant drop. I doubt the Vita sold 3,1 m in 2/3 months...

2: You're right. The Vita is 1 years + 1 month. But according to you 3/4 months will make a difference of 10-20 million Vita's sold.

3: They do, but not everyone's gonna buy a new console for 1 game. When more people get Wii U they will also buy Mario. MH is only popular in Japan and not even released in western countries.

4: ok

5: double comment

6: Nintendo did an official financial report. Wii U sold 3,1 million. http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1788551/nintendo_slashes_wii_u_forecast_in_latest_results.html     ''Nintendo also revealed Wii U sold 3.06million between launch and the end of 2012, with software sales of 11.69million, a tie ratio of 3.8 games sold per console.''

I am Nintendo/Sony which I didn't think was a unique breed on VGChartz.

We are not a unique breed here & other sites.

Nintendo/Sony since PS2/GameCube.

Where is all this hate coming from at the minute? Every time I log on it’s a new thread like this. Lets put things in perspective first. They’re only gaming companies, there’s no reason to get all angry because one is outselling another (or not). I love gaming (and always have) and the real shocker is that I like Sony AND Nintendo (omg!) and I don’t even hate Microsoft – BUT I am fed up reading all this trash about Nintendo. They’re a good gaming company, whats the issue?

1. The nature of a holiday season launch....At the rate it's going it will be hard for it to do over 5m in a year.

2. 13 months in Japan only, yes. And no, I don't know how you got that.

3. "MH is only popular in Japan" - I know, that's why I said it had already released where it's relevant.

6. That's shipped...2.5m are sold to consumers.

So the Wii U took from 2 to 2 1/2 months to sell 2.5 million, while the PS Vita Life time sells is 4.1 Million.

Then either the Wii U is a success OR the PS Vita is a failure. Plain and simple.

I don't hate Sony sorry, but I don't like the Dualshock ^^
