1: Again, Wii U sold in a very limited time 75% of what Vita achieved in 1,1 years. There also hasn't release new good games after the release. People who bought Wii U only got one for the launch games. That explains the significant drop. I doubt the Vita sold 3,1 m in 2/3 months...

2: You're right. The Vita is 1 years + 1 month. But according to you 3/4 months will make a difference of 10-20 million Vita's sold.

3: They do, but not everyone's gonna buy a new console for 1 game. When more people get Wii U they will also buy Mario. MH is only popular in Japan and not even released in western countries.

4: ok

5: double comment

6: Nintendo did an official financial report. Wii U sold 3,1 million. http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1788551/nintendo_slashes_wii_u_forecast_in_latest_results.html     ''Nintendo also revealed Wii U sold 3.06million between launch and the end of 2012, with software sales of 11.69million, a tie ratio of 3.8 games sold per console.''

1. The nature of a holiday season launch....At the rate it's going it will be hard for it to do over 5m in a year.

2. 13 months in Japan only, yes. And no, I don't know how you got that.

3. "MH is only popular in Japan" - I know, that's why I said it had already released where it's relevant.

6. That's shipped...2.5m are sold to consumers.

So the Wii U took from 2 to 2 1/2 months to sell 2.5 million, while the PS Vita Life time sells is 4.1 Million.

Then either the Wii U is a success OR the PS Vita is a failure. Plain and simple.
