Forums - Nintendo - Vigil games sends a message to Nintendo.

Apparently no one bought Vigil games and thus their current IP the excellent Darksiders is headed for limbo.  So the guys at Vigil put this up on their facebook page as an open invitation to some big publisher.  Hmmmm....I guess I am not the only one who thought the IP would make a great fit for Nintendo.  What do you guys think?

Around the Network

I think Nintendo should buy them, they need exclusive games like this.

it would be better suited with sony, not only does sony have the experience making these types of games, sony gives their devs more freedom to create the types of games they want

Yesss! only to see the hardcore circus show blow up on the internet! LOL .. specifically ps360 fans they the funniest haters they will cry the most!

That's a double-edged sword, of course.

But I agree Sony would benefit more from it. Darksiders could be Sony's answer to The Legend of Zelda.

Nintendo could do a Bayonnetta on this as they need more games in this style.

I wouldn't mind. But I wouldn't be ecstatic either.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

not really, considering two of the most hyped games this year are The last of us and beyond two souls and those are the two biggest example of when sony gave their devs the freedom to create the game they wanted.

You mean two Zeldas at Nintendo? If that means we get Zelda every two instead of every four years, then I'm in.

(Yes, yes, the other Zelda has a different name and looks a bit darker. I'm fine with this.)

3DS-FC: 4511-1768-7903 (Mii-Name: Mnementh), Nintendo-Network-ID: Mnementh, Switch: SW-7706-3819-9381 (Mnementh)

my greatest games: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024

10 years greatest game event!

bets: [peak year] [+], [1], [2], [3], [4]

I'm pretty sure God of War: Ascension (Sony) and Grand Theft Auto: 5 (Rockstar) have bigger hype.
