Fallout New Vegas, and Dark Souls.
I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 without a doubt. I thought that the first game was good but not the most incredible so I was excited about 2 but not ecstatic. My hype kept increasing when I saw the scores coming out better than 1 and that it had fixed everything that was wrong with the first and finally it came. WOOOOOOW. Also, 120 green stars, damn.
Kirby's Epic Yarn, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Xenoblade, Okami and I'm still going to play the last story.

Halo 3 met my insanely high expectations and skyrim went way above my low expectations(I didn't like open world rpg's at the time, but skyrim made me love them)

Elder Scroll V: Skyrim!
I thought it might be fun, cause, it has dragons. And it was, I think, the first true open world game I played of it's kind - where you can go anywhere at anytime. I've played others, but there were always so many ares where the levels were too tough. (Then if for get to go at the right time, it's too easy.)
But it really exceeded what I expected. Plus the humor and the lore are outstanding. Really loved it game.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned. Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon! |

Gotta say Uncharted 2. I played Drake's fortune when it launched and although I was a bit younger (like 15ish) I never finished it and thought it was just good. But when I played through 2... The story, refined gameplay and visuals really shot out to me.
