Gears of War. The game that made me buy a 360. Revivified the third-person shooter and delivered on all fronts: presentation, graphics, gameplay, sound.

Mass Effect 2 and 3. I dont get arsy over little things like not having the perfectly customised ending aslong as its an interesting ending.

Demon's Souls

Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption and FarCry 3

A few went beyond my expectations but just one...Batman AC. After asylum I honestly see AC being better, equal maybe but not better and it blew me away. Though Uncharted 2 and Bioshock 2 did the same for me.

Xenoblade

All the games you mentioned were dissapointments to me. Especially GoW 3, which made me buy my PS3, and instantly regret it. I could buy the PS3 today, for about half of what I payed, and with at least 5-10 games included. That would have made me feel much better about my investment, and I'll be sure to remember that when the PS4 comes around. When it comes to Sony, I think my early blooming days are over.

I thought Sony would mess it up but it turned out to be the best game i've ever played, This gen obviously.
