sorry I meant to do this:

My thoughts exactly! It's look great, but almost exactly like FF13. The area and some of the enemies looked like it was ripped straight from Pulse.

Are you kidding me? X2 obviously renders over twice the amount of objects on screen and textures are much more detailed as well. I always thought FFXIII looked a bit like a PS2 game in HD because of the blurry textures and extremely sparse environments.

The character at the end looks an awful lot like Shulk, could this be a direct sequel?

At any rate, it's nice to see a game finally stretch the Wii's muscles. That level of detail and scale probably takes the Wii's larger RAM to accomplish, at least at times.

Dissappointed that you guys ain't fapping but posting... start fapping!

No but it's a spiritual successor, the X in it may be a quirk they've taken to link each game together even if they're not directly linked, think of the X as a franchise name or logo if you will much like Final Fantasy in any of its games.

Ninjablade is just trying to annoy the people who came to this thread because they are excited for this game. Comparing it to RDR is laughable. Choose Halo4 or The Last of Us even...but RDR? lol. The world being displayed in X is literally about 10-20X the size, with details in the distance still visible. Those details include realistic mist from waterfalls, grass, moving objects... and it's all done with incredible lighting. The speeder moving over the landscape reminds me of the Attack of the Clones. Everytime I watch this trailer I appreciate the graphical detail more...and it gets me more excited for the game!

how do you know this have you played the game, i think RDR looks much better, i'm sure you will find many with a similer opinion, once direct feed video come out and 720p pics are released you will see all the flaws, that i have already spotted in the video.

I said I was done but you are so ignorant I couldn't resist....

You are saying this image...

have more detail than this?

Lets say RDR is more detailed for arguments sake.  There is one huge difference that Ninja is forgetting.  The mecha will be moving like 100 mph or more across this landscape.   The horse is going significantly less.  That means the X game will need to have a lot more rendered at a time and need huge draw distance or else it will be pop up like crazy.  RDR doesn't need to render as much because it will take significantly more time for the player to reach a further distance and see the terain, ect up close and in detail.

Not to be a debbie downer, but I believe this will be one of the better looking games on the U, like the original GalThisaxy was for the Wii (which was released only one year later of the console launch).

So, honestly, I don't expect a lot of games to look better in the future than this one.

I don't know about that. Mario Galaxy achieved its stunning graphics thanks to its relatively small platforms and limited on-screen objects. This game seems to be the exact opposite.

But generally, I don't know of any games that improved tech significantly from the early trailers (some more a bit more polished some look worse). Do you?

Metroid Prime 3. Early footage and screens looked like Prime 2.

If you're problem is that the Mecha goes 100mpg then compare this new game to GTA V then. Since I assume you can go over 100 MPH in a vehicle and over 100 MPH in the mech I think it would be a somewhat fair comparison. Plus they are both open world. We're going to have to wait till both come out though.

OT - Anyone know if this is turn based? I like RPG's but the thing that ALWAYS annoys me is having to take turns.

I don't think anyone would know. But Xenoblade wasn't turn based. It was ATB Similar to FFXII, Dragon Age (on PC), Old Bioware Games.
