If you're problem is that the Mecha goes 100mpg then compare this new game to GTA V then. Since I assume you can go over 100 MPH in a vehicle and over 100 MPH in the mech I think it would be a somewhat fair comparison. Plus they are both open world. We're going to have to wait till both come out though.

OT - Anyone know if this is turn based? I like RPG's but the thing that ALWAYS annoys me is having to take turns.

I don't think anyone would know. But Xenoblade wasn't turn based. It was ATB Similar to FFXII, Dragon Age (on PC), Old Bioware Games.
