Of course, with their track record that could just be a guess on their part...

Unless they have a MAJOR new IP up their sleeves this will be hard to manage. While all of their IPs are of the highest quality they just don't have enough Wow-factor compared to 2 new console releases.


That's why i was against releasing the Wii U too early.

Question is what other new games? Is his definition of new just non-released or games we actually haven't heard of yet. This could be big or it could be wii music. Guess we'll find out.


Nintendo UK specifically states "Iwata will be revealing new Wii U games".  Not much room for interpretation.  New games will be revealed, by Iwata.

As a Wii U owner a new 3D Mario,Metroid game won't do anything the only thing that would make a big splash is SSB and Zelda.


I think ppl should forget zelda for a bit. We got a zelda game a year ago. Nintendo has nothing to show us as of now I think. 

I agree with you on the 3D mario part. We got a insane number of mario title in the past couple of years, it will be hard for this game to get the amount of hype that it deserves. They should wait for E3 for that one.

But I disagree with you on Metroid. A AAA Metroid Prime developed by Retro Studio is the best first party scenario (after zelda) to get western hardcore gamers on board. That or a new IP.

This is a killer statement. Thursdays earnings release is going to be horrid, the stock will hit an all time low and management will be fired.

The investor's meeting is exactly why we're having this ND. They need to get info for the remainder of the year out to the public before this meeting so the investors have some sort of idea on where the company is going. Kinda the bad part about them being so secretive.

Hopefully there is a good run down of 2013 games to be seen and I'm also hoping for more media related services, like DLNA or at least media server features.

Ahhh, yeah. Last ND Iwata said they were releasing the Google Maps app this month in Japan. Was Panorama View also releasing then?

I'm kinda curious what this means. Like will we get a "behind the scenes" look at games in development and how they're made? Kind of like a video version of Iwata Asks for future games?
