I really wanted to vote No More Heroes or No More Heroes 2 but thinking about it in terms of quality and not just personal preference, I had to go for Monster Hunter Tri.
A few other games that were very good but not listed include, Deadly Creatures, Epic Mickey, the Trauma series especially Trauma Team, all of the Call of Duty titles were superb ports, plus a lot of on rail titles mainly House of Dead: Overkill, Dead Space: Extraction and Resident Evil: Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles.
I was going to vote for Other (Xenoblade) but the Best third party game is:
Monster Hunter Tri - It's one of the best and most addicting RPG's ever with tons of customizations, quests and online co-op to keep you going. It's fun and never gets old, my only problem is it's weak story. (great ending tho!) This is definitely a must own.
Other Great third party games:
GoldenEye 007
Pandora's Tower
Project Zero 2
Red Steel 2
Silent Hill Shattered Memories
Sin and Punishment
Tatsunoko vs Capcom
The Last Story
Trauma Center
Xenoblade Chronicles.
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is my favorite thirdparty wii game, even my favorite wii game. I also thought Red Steel 2 was pretty good, as was Goldeneye 007.
