Forums - Gaming - Entitled DmC Fans Want President Obama To Pull Game From Shelves

After reading this I'll have to make a petition to Obama myself: The USA needs a better educational system. The country is in a sad state when it's population has problem's with possessive pronouns and the plural S.

Well, the USA's educational system did write buy me. I no wear to put my apostrophies.

That is clearly a satirical petition to make fun of the "fans" who are pissed that Dante doesn't have his hipster hair anymore. If you read it as satire it's pretty funny.

Now i would like this game to be announced as a Wii U exclusive just to see how much they want it after all.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

It is either someone making fun of fans, or a fan trying to get Capcom to read about this some more.

Want it? That would just give them an excuse to blame Nintendo for everything they hate about it.

yeah that's what I thought... if you look up^

apparently not many here saw that...

I laughed. I'm pretty sure this is just an epic, successful, and hilarious troll rather than an actual attempt to get a game banned.

So it was a joke petition...yet wont it hurt the chances of real ones (like a petition against tax hikes against violent games) ?

Sort of. The government has to acknowledge it after like 100k maybe 10k sigs i forgot. The government normally just writes one sentence saying no. There was one petition saying the USA should make a death star.

granted, since so much crap gets through they probably take every petition less seriously.

The Death Star one was funny.. Ecspecially with the response it got.. But now it only makes the US look silly.. Glad that they raised the amounts of signatures after the Death star cause I wouldnt like that the goverment is wasting time with this BS

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

The entire Whitehouse public petition is a joke. The President will only use what he can for political gains and will ignore what people want if it gets in the way of his agenda. That's the way politics works and no petition will change it. Only fear of being voted out of office keeps our elected officials from completely trashing the constitution.
