Being a huge Assassins Creed fan (since the first ! AC) AC3 is disappointing and definitely worse than AC2 and Brotherhood.
Also the glitchiest....

Ikr? Also 100% (Ps3). Do you remember just actually enjoying beating the story then collecting all those feathers and achievement hunting? 3 just doesn't even come close.

Yup. At least the story was easier to follow. I don't understand exactly what I'm doing sometimes in this one.

So I just finished a mission a couple hours ago where the french chef guy gets something stolen from his home, he gets angry and charges through the streets attracting British soldiers. The soldiers attack the french chef guy and you have to protect him leaving like 15 soldiers just lieing there in the street. Couldn't follow it whatsoever and had no clue what was going on. @___@

That leads to something very interesting: He will come to your side and you can send to different missions. As he go through those sidequests he will earn xp and at some point it will be an assassin (just like Connor). There are a total of 3 of those companions in Boston and 3 in New York. Latter in the game you can call them to kill or make other things lilke safeguard you. The more you send them to those sidequest, the better they are. The problem is that even in secuence 8 you are still learning this like it was tutorial.

I'm really into the style of the game because I love stuff about Native Americans.
But I admit the game is not perfect. It has its moments but the fun parts of the game are the missions, outside of the missions exploration is not as much fun. They got the balance right in Assassin's Creed 2 with exploration, side quests and story, in this game I just felt bored filling in empty spaces of the map for hours on end.
It works in some RPGs because theres a lot of meat in exploration, but in this game theres too much exploration for very little reward. They struck the wrong balance here, Assassin's Creed dosen't need to have much exploration imo, and the game has a few tech issues
The best thing about the game is Connor and the revolution.
