How exciting. Biometrics is a really interesting concept for games and the touch panel if done right could be a huge feature. It's only a natural addition if you're not blatantly hating.

I've heard the biometric rumor before but the LCD one is new, I'm a big fan of the dual shock so I hope they don't change it 2 much or make it so old school controllers are compatible.

Wii U HD incoming

Sounds like its still a controller you hold on your hands. It has grips. So there goes the "copying Nintendo" arguments.

I hope if it has a touchscreen that it's a very small, unobtrusive one, and that's it's much less of a focus than the Wii U's gamepad. I would rather have a game controller with a screen built in than a screen with buttons tacked on.

I remember some of the original rumors about the PS3 claiming the Sixaxis was going to do biometrics. They scrapped it back then, but maybe this time around...

Time to finally bring back the biometric boomerang controller?
