yeah, remember it. friend bought it "preloaded" with extra-stuff... ftp'ing games to the xbox' hdd and just play it... without the original xbox we wouldn't have xbmc by now, btw. the controller was cool, although a little bit too big. a heaven for homebrew and hacking, with a lot of good games.
My GF's nephew got one for Christmas in 2001. He idolized me and wanted to impress me but I was a PS2 fan. I downplayed every thing about the system and criticised it so much that he soon traded it in for a Gameboy Advance, Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku, and Castlevania.
To this day, I feel bad about that. I even bought him a 360 for Christmas 2011. Hope it makes up for my being an asshole. :(

I was a console fanboy. Didn't have an Xbox so I trash talked it. Fast forward to 2007 and Xbox 360 was my favorite console. He was about 11 or 12, at the time. I don't know what got into me. We were at his grandmother's house on Christmas (where everybody in their family goes for Christmas) and I saw him open up the box. Still remember the pic of him holding the console over his head like he was Link and he just discovered the Tri Force. When we were on our own, I suddenly went into "Hater Mode".
I was even the guy that connected it to the TV in the bedroom that day. Like I said, I was an asshole. We're still close and I still remind him of that incident and I still feel bad about it.

Didn't own any of these but I do own Crazy Taxi 3 which is the best game in the franchise since it also includes enhanced versions of the first two games.
Yes, I used to play Halo 2 on it with buddies. But I probably didn't know of it until maybe 2004.

I was waiting for so long for a Dino crisis 3 and then I saw that game in stores and was like 'WTF'.. why nobody told me?
Come on, when I pick up this game people still are shocked to see it got an sequel (that was kind of good)..
This one I knew and it is hoping the next one will release this year...
