My GF's nephew got one for Christmas in 2001. He idolized me and wanted to impress me but I was a PS2 fan. I downplayed every thing about the system and criticised it so much that he soon traded it in for a Gameboy Advance, Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku, and Castlevania.
To this day, I feel bad about that. I even bought him a 360 for Christmas 2011. Hope it makes up for my being an asshole. :(
