It has been more than one year, and the Wii U is far behind those "shit sales" of the PS3.  The PS3 also never went on to dominate with second place being "relatively distant" the way Sound of Rain expected for the Wii U.  The PS4 is also looking to be the clear winner in Europe after just five weeks, in sharp contrast to his prediction.  He also expected a 15 million lead in Japan.  Just selling that much in Japan seems unlikely.  The Wii didn't even make it there, and at this point in its life had triple the sales of the Wii U in Japan.

What if the PS4 only does around 70% of its life time sells in the first 2 years of release?

Wii U has a nice line up for 2014, but 3rd party have already abandoned it, leaving nintendo alone to push the console and outside of 2014 the wii u future look's ugly.
