PS3 outsold X360 by 42% and it still had not been released in Europe (the biggest PS3 market).

funny story. When I first signed up on this site I only had the original xbox, n64, nintendo, snes. I only had experience with GeoW, crackdown, video uno, dead rising and others. I was leaning towards the 360 purchase because my friends had them. I commented for and against the 360 and ps3. I was immeadiatly labled a ps3 fanboy and attacked. It pushed me towards the ps3 and history was made

That's the first 23rd/24th December sales for 360... just like you showed the PS3 numbers... the correct comparison is...

X360 134,214 (-19%) 1,082,376
PS3 190,595 (-5%) 1,078,020

Anyway the PS3 didn't have launch in Europe yet.

I was still surfing the 6th gen wave when the Ps3 released. I don't buy consoles in their 1st year of being on the market. I did see Sony getting hammered by everybody though and that was a time where PS3 fanboys were losing(getting owned in debates and what not) to the 360 fanboys on the battlefield(YouTube).

It didn't change until a YouTuber named "mrjiggaman" came on the scene and made videos called "why so much hate for the ps3?" And "the 360 is the now, ps3 is the future" you can search for the historical videos on YouTube right now if you'd like lol
