Yeah I do feel the PS2 is the best console to be made.

Yeah I think it was the best console ever made. Maybe PS4 or 720 can change that for me though.

No. PS2 B/C PS3 is.

SNES was superior IMO. Best First party, Excellent RPG library, great platformers, and some great beat em ups. Of course, it had Earthbound, which makes it already elite with that game alone.

Edit: Misleading title, although would still say PS1. RPGs were at their best on that console, along with the Crash games.

Gamecube... well I grew up with Mario Kart Double Dash, Smash Bros Meele and Zelda WindWaker.
MK:DD and SSBM with 4 kids was so much fun I never will have again.

And TWW my first "adventure" in videogames was just... magic (look at my avatar).

Tough to say. It's the games that make the console worthy, so I'd give a slight nod to Nintendo 64.

Among all time systems the Playstation 2 and Super Nintendo are the gold standards to me. Among the three Sony consoles it goes Playstation 2 by a fair distance, then Playstation 3 and lastly Playstation 1.

Playstation 2 was a clear evolutionary system with great third party support. Any type of gamer you are was covered back then. No surprise my PS2 library came to dwarf all others (that and games were cheap). I could argue all three consoles combined of this current generation have not satisfied me as much as the PS2 did alone. Not sure how long until we see such a console again if ever.

I loved my ps2 but I enjoyed my ps1 more due it having all my favorite RPGs like suikoden 1&2, final fantasy 7,8,9 wild arms, Legend of dragoon.

Ps2 also had some awesome rpgs though suikoden 3 and 5 where great final fantasy 10 was nice and Shadow Hearts: Covenant was fun as.
