To the bolded i can see that happening as it seems to be the road they are going with testing it out with the 360. To the underlined. Main reason i said this was cos of how MS seems to want to go for the Apple model of having all their apps/games working on all their devices/OS. I think they just might see all their '8's' Systems as 1 platform ie Windows 8 for tablets, windows 8 for PC and Xbox 8. But then i can see how they might keep Halo an exclusive on their console and release some of their other games multiplat on all their systems. |
Well they already do that anyways. Like Fable III, Gears, Alan Wake, and a few others they allowed to go to PC after a while They wait until sells are pretty stagnant before doing so though. Like Forza they always bundle it when it starts to slow down which is usually at 3-4 million. So i think they will continue that strategy but who knows I could be wrong lol
They do seem to want to connect all of their devices but I think certain features will be limited on certain devices. The NeXbox will be a multmedia center for example so I believe the phone/tablet could work as a tv remote and you can stream videos and smaller games on your phone/tablet. PC will likely be able to use xbox live but not play retail games on it. Just my prediction though.
