I find it funny how 1.25 CPU is slow and 1.6 is fast. Only in the internet... its those 350Mhz that make the difference!

It might be easier for people to say Nintendo is slow and Microsoft is fast! Its about as obvious that theres no logic to it.

3 cores @1.25 is (not a little bit, a lot) slower than 8 or 16 cores @ 1.6
here in the internet and everywhere.

i don't get what is so difficult to understand...

Not necessarly. Depends on the CPU tech. And other rumors pointed out that half of the cores will be used for kinect. So it seems true that all next gen consoles will have similar power.

Exclusive on vgchartz rumor?Seriosuly this is getting funnier everyday, why don't just said 8 cores and 8GB ram will be used for kinect?yeah, just said "actually xbox is kinect, kinect is xbox" lol

AMD china empolyee already hinted nextbox will use HD8850/8870(without M),are you telling me they will use 4 core AMD cpu to run it lol

I get to play more games. You get to brag on the internet about higher numbers.

your argument would be true if PCs didn't have more games :P I'm all about the JRPGs on consoles, sadly they keep getting shittier these days and it's even sadder that the best one I've played in the 7th gen is on the fucking Wii lol.

Xenoblade exceeded my expectations Its probably my all time favourite. I seriously never expected a Wii game to be so huge. Im curious to see what Monolith Soft can do with the Wii U. If you never played Radiant Historia on the DS youre missing out on one of the best jrpg.

As much as I think Microsoft will have an advanced controller scheme bundled with their system at launch, I think it would be a huge mistake to use Kinect as a central part of their next generation strategy ... I think the technology can be re-used, or they could release it as an add-on, but I haven't seen much evidence of long term positive reactions to Kinect; and I don't think most people would be willing to pay more to have an advanced Kinect as part of their system.

They won't,nextbox will have other accessories to catch the casual market

8GB RAM is nice, the only concern is the processor.

28% difference...not insignificant. Not saying I think that's the difference between fast and slow, but 28% is 28%.

JRPGs on handheld >>>>>>> JRPGs on consoles in general these days.

Does anyone actually care about Kinect 2? Most people that I know have it never use it.

Another thing: A console can't be in beta can it? Maybe they mean the system's OS is in beta or something?

how come kinect keep selling then

The majority of Xbox 360 bundles in the holidays inlcude Kinect. This was especially true in the first few months it launched. Looking at Kinect now, it has slowed down considerably in sales. This is why you only see Kinect Adventures near the top of the charts in the holidays.

Kinect sells well because it is bundled and seems like a good addition to families that have young children, but its software sales are generally pretty weak (I suspect) because it doesn't really deliver the experience people expected ...

I could be wrong but I expect that Kinect 2 will be successful if bundled with the next XBox system, the price of the system doesn't increase beyond people's confort level ($400), and it is not the primary input method for games. If Microsoft produces a $500+ system with Kinect as the primary input device I expect it would be a sales disaster on an unprecidented level.

you are wrong.

Software sales are decent. And these do not include digital releases like Fruit Ninja Kinect, which sold more than 1 million copies back in March.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I find it interesting that people claim the Wii has awful software sales with a tie ratio of over 8, but a tie-ration of 1.92 is decent software sales for Kinect ...

Edit: To put a 1.92 tie-in ratio into perspective, the Wii U currently has a 1.42 unbundled tie-ratio (which is similar to most systems when they are purchased) so half of owners would have to buy another game in order to match the Kinect's "decent" software sales.
