People like pezus and vgking said MANY times that "Vita hasn't even been for a year!!" and all that and to have great amounts of patience.

Yet they don't exercise the same restraint in regards to the Wii U.

Let's try to be OBJECTIVE here people....

And check my sig, I'm a PSN trophy whore. No allegiance to the Wii U over here. Just a little something I've noticed on their part.

Anyway, let's look at the FACTS:

Wii U has not been out for very long and it is WAAAAY to early to draw conclusions about how successful it will be. You have to give it AT LEAST a year on the market.

Also, you have to wait for the BIG games to come out.

Any questions??

Yeah, the New Super Mario Bros franchise can't be called big. New Super Mario Bros Wii has only sold 26 million thus far and doesn't even have a 30% attach rate. Pathetic. On the DS, the attach rate is even worse, a measly 28.7 million units were sold on a 150 million installed base. Black Ops is also small fries, the previous one only mustered about 28 million sales across platforms, same goes for Assassin's Creed, that franchise has only sold around 43 million, predominantly on PS360, no reason for Nintendo to be happy about taking part in that. I can't wait for the BIG games to come to the Wii U!

the WII U launch is fucking terrible in europe which ever way you look at it. its lower than the vita FFS! how can anyone possibly argue with that?

Dude, nobody is arguing that Vita had a terrible launch....

Hahaha, this guy is so funny. Can't even accept WiiU had a bad launch inEurope, and always brings Vita into conversation... Compare it to the Virtual Boy launch... That will make you happy!

It seems Xbox 360 dominance, even in the lead up to Christmas seems to be ending. It has never been so close before. Just 20000 between the two!

In its 2 strongest regions it is dominating the competition.  The problem is they didn't price cut Europe hence the lower demand.  Either way its clear Microsoft are happy with their market share as its all about profitability for them.

You mean UK and US right? Well you're wrong.

It is NOT "dominating" in the UK.
It is in the US.

Keep telling yourselves that, it is consistently out selling it weekly and for the year and will soon by in the number one spot.  If you don't like what I have to say then just don't reply, certainly not with a curt response with no evidence of why I'm "wrong".  Thanks.

Fine. I'll explain to you why the Xbox 360 isn't dominatin the UK. Simply outselling the PS3 doesn't mean it is "dominating".  Right now there's like barely a 10k difference in 360s favor. A few weeks ago during the AC3 launch, PS3 outsold 360......

Yes, 360 is winning in the UK. Dominating? Far from it. PS3 is very much going head to head with the 360.

In the US you could say the 360 is dominating, and you would be right. It's been the best selling console for like 23(?) months straight there.

Nice try though.

The PS3 has had a price cut and new model In the UK but cannot outsell the 360 more than a odd week  so yes in my opinion its dominating the PS3.  When did the PS3 last win a month in the UK?

If by a "price cut" you mean an increased price, then you're right, it got a price cut.

To tell the truth I don't get it why you guys even include UK in your arguments. This country is so small that there is just no point doing it. Talk about Europe, not just one strange European (or is it?) country. Selling more in such a small market doesn't really mean a thing. You can as well be separately talking about sales in Germany, Italy, France, Spain or Poland, but it's just pointless. I think we should stick to Japan, US and Europe.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I wouldn't know. Look it up yourself.

BTW, PS3 didn't have a price cut this year.

@VGKing Who told Sony to launch a 500 - 600 dollar system? Thats just an excuse for the ps3s horrible launch. May I also add the WiiU isnt exactly up against expensive competition. The ps3 is now the same price as what the wii launched at and is even bundled with four games in some packages. Like i said the WiiU had a better launch w/o much from Europe, that says alot about them, even though the WiiU has been underwhelming according to some.

Lol, WiiU's launch in Europe was MUCH weaker than PS3's, and PS3 launched in March...

And yet the WiiU is still outpacing it so whats your point?

That is the point. Half the sales of PS3 in Europe at half the price and March vs. November.

Why do you keep bringing up Europe? Am I suppose to give a crap about Europe? The WiiU is outpacing the PS3 point, blank, period.

Well Wii U is the worst launch ever in Eurpe (if I remember).
