I don't mean to be annoying, but here goes:
Super Mario 64
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie
Jet Force Gemini
Donkey Kong 64
Diddy Kong Racing
Rogue Squadron
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
Turok 2
Super Smash Bros.
Mario Kart 64
1080 Snowboarding
Body Harvest
Blast Corps
World Driver Championship
Killer Instinct Gold
Paper Mario
WCW vs. nWo: World Tour
WCW vs. nWo: Revenge
GoldeyEye 007
Perfect Dark
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
Excitebike 64
Castlevania
Mario Party
Mario Tennis
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Extreme-G
Fighters Destiny
International Superstar Soccer
Mortal Kombat 4
Rayman 2
Resident Evil 2
Star Fox 64
Star Wars: Episode I Racer
Wipeout 64
Yoshi's Story
There are more, but I only listed games I've played.
That's not a pitiful line-up.
N64 because I never had an XBox.
N64 had Turok Pokémon Stadium Super Smash Bros. and the best game ever
for me it's almost 50:50 but n64 had more good exclusives but since the thread is about the fun i had with my console i obviously had also fun with xbox games which were also on ps2 or pc. some seem not to understand this and mention here that n64 had more exclusives. does a multi-plat game make less fun on xbox because it was also on ps2? so, n64 or xbox, you can prefer both but if you had fun with a multi-plat game on any console you have to count that for your fun-o-meter.
xbox: kotor, the xbox top spin (i believe it was bad on ps2), morrowind, halo games, ralli sport challenge (man were those games great) +f orza + pgr + motogp games, ninja gaiden black, panzer dragoon orta, splinter cell games which were just awesome on xbox, jade empire, crimson skies, time splitters 2, oddworld, jet set radio
n64: zelda oot+ majora's mask, goldeneye, excitebike, banjo games, star fox, blast corps, conker (omg), perfect dark, turok 2, mario kart, 1080 and wave race (both a part of the best"sport" games of all time), donkey kong, jet force gemini and extreme-g games. and i really liked forsaken against some friends.
(and i did never like mario 64 no clue why so yeah if you wonder how i can't count this haha)
and omg that guy who posted 150 posts in a row only to talk crap about halo and cod is also in this thread, is all you do here in this forum only to search for a thread were you can talk about how bad halo and cod are and how true gamers would never count this as true game? learn to accept other gamers taste and stop talking so much crap about a game millions of "true gamers" love.

Of course it depends on what kind of games you like. I for one have no love for nintendo's franchices, never liked their style of games.

Maybe you missed the part where I said if you don't enjoy Nintendo franchises?
Rareware was more than enough for me to love my N64 but the 3rd party lineup on the console was pretty terrible.
Ok, look, if we compare directly the 2 consoles theres no contest, the Xbox is much more advanced
we are comparing them in their context, taking in count the factors that sorrounded them , which one was better or had better games in their time frame
is no a direct comparison
