I've already said what I believe is going on here like 4 times already. The majority of demand came from germany and france so they shipped the majoirty there and are taking things slower here. What I have observed here is people go nuts for i-(insert name here) and everything else sells slower. If a system launches next year at £425 mark my words, it is going to struggle more then 2007. I've asked around why the reason is they haven't picked vita and yeah there was one that said psp was too much like ps2. But the majority said money. |
Out of curiosisty, how many have you asked?
From my own personal experience, the people outside or the hardcore (people like us that visit forums and talk about gaming) not many people are aware of the exsistence of the WiiU nevermind the release date. A few UK commercials have remedied that somewhat but without a major campaign it will start off slowly because the majority of people that play the Wii and would be interested in the WiiU are casual gamers (people who don't go to gaming sites).
This could explain the UK numbers, along with shortages, but like I said in the previous post the WiiU will be fine and we continue to gather momentum as the word starts to get out.
