Ahh!!! Leo-j is back... from the dead...

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

shortages in Japan, in America no, this saga sold millions in América.

Nintendo was able to ship enough copies of Pokemon D/P. I see no reason why they won't ship enough for this game.

Woo! Yay for reviving old threads. The answer is still no. No shortages.

I don't think there will be.. there isn't usually a shortage on games unless they come with components and take up a lot of shelf space (eg Rock Band, DDRs)

well checking on what y-koron said i think there might be only for 1 day though seeing as it launches on thursday and then they will ship more on the weekend

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

Yes, this "shortage" in Japan is only temporary, plenty more games will ship by the weekend.

Think of it more like a few days delay, maybe that'll help.

Anyway, I doubt this will happen in the US, I'm sure they'll be able to produce enough.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

well, DS games are prob easier to mass produce compared to Wii games?
