Let's better wait until Nintendo wants to make/show a game that looks better than current gen.
Nintendo Land has some good lighting and textures at some parts, but nothing complex or mindblowing.
NSMBU, well...
The only one I'm expexting to look good (announced) is Bayonetta 2.

Show me Zelda/Metroid/3D Mario.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I would like if the game has this artstyle or something similar.

Also, Pro Controller support.

your video aren't showing up for me.  but i'll wager you are showing off bad looking launch games.   ..in general those exists.

Call Duty 2 ps2 and 360.  not much difference.

...but every other launch has a least 1 game that makes you go wow.  for the 360 it was kameo.  got to 3:43 where the reviewer states "kameo is really a showcase for the xbox 360 so if you've been wondering whether next generation games are really going to look all that much better the answer is yes if kameo is any indication".

so does wiiU have a kameo?  is there even 1 game for the wiiU that will make me go wow?  i'd love for you to show me that game.  one would like zombieU would be that game ... but it isn't.

But why do graphics have to be the only source of greatness or progress? I think Kameo is actually a bad example, because while it looked gorgeous it wasn't a terrific experience gameplay wise. A generational leap need not be limited only to graphics.

i suppose because the OP is "wiiU is NOT weaker than ps360" instead of "wiiU is NOT less fun than ps360".

i agree graphics are the only metric for progress but i do firmly believe power is an important one.  3D perspectives, sandbox games, massively interactive environments (think AC) are all gameplay elements specifically enabled by power.

i don't know if you are a fan of sucker punch but play sly cooper on the ps2 and infamous on the ps3 ... they have a very similar core gameplay mechanic but infamous multiplies it 100 fold in an open world environment.  infamous is an amazingly fun gameplay enabled completely by raw power.

why i came to hate the wii (was nintendo only from NES to GC) was games played very "last generation" to me.  while i have no idea what new innovations will come with more power i do know once i have them i won't want to go back to "dated", "last generation" gameplay.  that's why it is so important to me that wiiU is a true generational enhancement.

i remain unconvinced.

kitler, when did you start hating the Wii and become a PS3 fan?....I´ve been here since January 2008, but I can´t remember if you were still pro Wii around that time.

i was pro wii for about the first 2 years.  I got my ps3 shortly after the release of LBP (oct 2008) and my feelings towards wii/nintendo turned pretty quickly after i started playing what i would qualify as better games.  keep in mind 2007/2008 was vgchartz hey dayz and i was pretty small potatoes back then.  who can complete with the likes of johnlucas.  not i.

Haha LoL! CoD 2 and 3 actually were the games I picked yes :p

Kameo was developed by Rare, so it's a first party game. And first party games on the Wii U is developed by... Nintendo. And we all know they don't care too much about graphics, so I think that's the problem. And ZombiU isn't a showcase for a number of reasons. I think (well, I hope) that Bayo2 will be able to wow HD-players! Or at least go, "not bad!". I understand and agree that right now, there isn't anything graphically to convince HD-gamers to pick up the Wii U, except game play. But it should be clear that Wii U at least isn't weaker.

to bold - i conceded that in my first post.  i am fully convinced the wiiU is not weaker than the ps360.

to underline - it looks like you agree to my point too.  sounds like we are on the same page overall.

i'd still say i'm one of the biggest haters on this site and i remain unconvinced about the wiiU.  at this point i think the only thing that can change my mind is MSony announcing their next gen hardware and it not living up to my expectations of how much more power is provided.  if they are also underpowered than i'll probably change my tune.  i'll be pissed as hell but that's a different thread..

Guess we are ^^

What kind of leap are you imagening/hoping it'll be? I'm not convinced it'll be a major leap. Not like PS2 to PS3.

lulz, i'm actually pretty out of my element when it comes to talking actual specs unfortuntly.  i guess i want a ps2 to ps3 leap.  but the one stat i can talk to ... 4-6 Gb Ram.  the wiiU has 2 Gb (but only 1 for games and the other for OS).  so like 4x better than wiiU.  I just want to be impressed again ... this gen has dragged on way too long.

kitler, for old time´s sake

Just spreading the truth about Sony fans brutha.  I understand though, it's all the pent up rage from the Vita convos we've been having the past year, so you guys need a chance to vent.  So go for it.

...Oh man, those phantom Sony fans are at it again.

yep, so few of us left anymore.  i doubt they comeback though.  i don't think that raw excitement of a nintendo come from behind win can ever be replicated in the gaming industry again.  this is still the best forum i've found for intelligent users but there just isn't anything as exciting to talk about as we had back then.

You never know, bro. This industry is too unpredictable.

Nevertheless, as the other next gen systems are unveiled and released, we´ll get some of that excitement back, I hope...at least a little.
