My 38th game was supposed to rejuvenate a stagnate but still popular series but ended up not being as amazing as I expected, but was still a great game and better than most of the games before it in the series.

Tomb Raider Legend?

#38:Assassin's Creed 3, this game had a great setting and interesting diversity in gameplay and there was a lot to do, however it had barely any stealth sequences compared to ac2 and brotherhood(on my list I put brotherhood as stealth for genre and ac3 as action adventure) and the ones it did have were occasionally poorly designed which was a disappointment , it also had a crappy and confusing ending, everything else about it was great though.

Clue for Game 37: Incredible single player experience, highly lackluster and peculiarly designed online. Derided by many for reasons that have nothing to do with the gameplay.

Mass Effect 3?

Nope; I love ME3's online.

You are close in that people deride this game because of something to do with storytelling, but in this case it is nothing to do with the ending.

Diablo 3?

Nope, the online in this case is entirely distinct from the single player.

And not Deus Ex either. The problem is not with the dialogue per se.

38. Bahamut Lagoon (SNES)

I'm a dead sucker for strategy RPGs and raiser sims, and since Bahamut Lagoon is the former with hints of the latter, it's like it was custom made just for me. The story follows a group of dragon knights in exile as they attempt reclaim their homeland from the Granbelos Empire, and naturally a lot of interpersonal drama ensues along the way. Just as important as the relationships between your characters, though, is your relationship with your dragons, and taking the time to raise them properly (including feeding them lots of healthy food, like porno mags) will allow you to reap the rewards on the battlefield. Bahamut Lagoon drips with SNES-era Squaresoft charm, with beautiful spritework and a suitably stirring score from a young Noriko Matsueda. Unfortunately, it is also one of many SNES treasures that Square never bothered to bring out of Japan, but thanks to the magic of ROMs and fan translations it was finally made available to western audiences some years later. Rejoice!

#38. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) (PS3 - Also on: X360, PC)

I had an absolute blast playing NFS:HP2 on GCN, when I heard they were making another one, I was jumping for joy. The game looked soo good, I couldn't believe how they captured the original Hot Pursuit feel in this game. The only sad part is that this game didn't feature offline multiplayer. I almost couldn't believe it, I was pretty pissed. My favorite part of HP2 was the multi with my bros/friends, and now it was gone. That said, I really really loved playing this game.

My #37 is kinda like the racing version of transformers. Hint: Animals.

#38 - Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped is the lowest entry in my list for a game on a Sony platform. It is a great platform game itself too. Along with the first two, the game does a good job at combining 3D and 2D platforming elements. Level design in the game is very varied, resulting in a game that just does not want to get boring. The Crash Bandicoot franchise, Crash 2 to be exact, was also the franchise that sold me the Playstation.

#37 - ?
A game in a similar style as my #39 game described above. However, it is still fairly new.

Super Mario 3D Land?

38. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Dude raider and the cinematic game movement starter.

37. We got it as the first in a series when it's actually the 7th in this long running strategy series that has been on handhelds and consoles.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

38. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader, GC (2001) LucasArts/Factor 5 (last year 37)

This game encapsulates the classic moments of the original trilogy's timeless battles and packs in some other varied, interesting missions, with lots of secrets, a challenging medal system, and some truly epic battles, this game really captures the appeal of the jet-fighter genre while perfectly synchronizing with the legend of Star Wars.

For 37: "Story mode" is a very accurate name for this game's single-player mode. Some stage names from this game include "Jelly Pipe," "Neuron Jungle" and the aptly-named "Frustration."

Have you gotten a chance to play rebel strike? the second Rogue Squadron game on the GC it even includes pretty much the whole of Rogue Leader in it but with a co op option for all the stages, definately worth checking out but I hear it has become a bit rare now. Great game tho..... THERE'S A LOT OF FIRE COMING FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF THAT DEFLECTION TOWER..... good times.

38. Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3) - I really enjoyed the stealth gameplay, and the the story was great too.

Haven't given a hint for a while, so... my #37 is a game that will be released this year on a certain console, but has already been released last year on other consoles. That's too easy :P
