31) The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening [DX] (GB 1993 / GBC 1998 / Action Adventure)

A truly awe-inspiring game; it's incredible to think that such an enormous experience could be fit into such a small system. Koholint Island is an entirely original setting, filled with interesting characters and murderous chickens, not to mention one owl. The dungeons are enjoyable and the boss battles require a great deal of strategy and quick reflexes. The addition of colour made it even better.
