Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 360 to Win Holiday, wants Wii owners!

"I think this holiday season is an amazing jump off for all those people who may have been interested in the Wii and now want to be interested in high definition gaming," he told GamesIndustry International last week. "I can't think of a better console for them to choose than one that has the most games available, the highest rated games available, than the Xbox 360 platform."

When Wii owners graduated, they go to PS3.
For Xbox 360, they'd just walk up to it and turn 360 degrees and walk away.

I think plenty of wii owners will love to follow the brand name. You will probably boast that 360 outsold wii u over the holidays but it isn't really something to gloat about since there will be shortages.

One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D

Although i do believe the 360 will win the holiday, they won't win this year. "overall sales"

This is true. X360 is more appealing than the Wii now for motion control fans, and the X360 is also more appealing for traditional gaming fans. Gonna be a monster holiday for the 360

Also Kinect 20m sold.

Microsoft PR has said the same thing for several years in the row now.

But I would have hoped they had abandoned the battle about the casuals by now.

Wouldn't the Wii U be the ideal console for people interested in the Wii and now want to be interested in high definition gaming?

No. It's not in direct competition with WiiU. The same way it was with the Wii.

Sorry, Galaki, I don't quite understand what you're saying. What is not in direct competition with Wii U?
