Forums - Nintendo - What has been your most disappointing/least disappointing Nintendo game this year?

Super Mario 3D Land was great

Fire Emblem: Awakening is most disappointing. Having to wait so long after 2 other regions get it sucks.

EDIT: 3D Land was last year. I have yet to buy a Nintendo game this year.

Mario Tennis, bought that one, played it twice, and haven't had the urge to play it again. It looked like a lot of fun, but it was probably the least fun game I have ever played from Nintendo since Urban Champion; except maybe for Punch Out Wii.

Most surprisingly good was Kid Icarus Uprising.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Most disappointing? Probably The Last Story. I like it, but not nearly as much as I hoped I'd like it. I imagine a sequel being really awesome on Wii U though.

Least disappointing? Xenoblade Chronicles blew my high expectations out of the water, so probably that. Followed shortly by Kid Icarus: Uprising, which has some surprisingly fun multiplayer.

Kid Icarus is my most palyed titel on 3DS over 100 hours.

Biggest Dissapointment this year. Maybe Beat The Beats on Wii - played only a few times

Switch!!!

The best surprise? Definately Kid Icarus: Uprising. AKA my most played 3DS game, and my enertainment for three months.

The biggest disappointment: Metroid 2 from the Virtual Console.I just couldn't get into it.

Least disappointing Mario Tennis, i just cant get enough of it
most disappointing......difficult to say....maybe Kid Icarus, the game is great but the controls are bad

Least disappointing? Probably Xenoblade. If you get rid of the super long and over abundant cut scenes, it's a nearly perfect game.

Most disappointing? Kid Icarus. The controls when you are on the ground are awful and the levels have little to no variety. Here's how the levels go: flying portion, ground portion, boss, rinse, lather, repeat.

Same as you.

Most disappointing is Mario Tennis Open, it's lacking in content.

Least: Kid Icarus, it's actually my favorite Nintendo game released this year. The level 9 difficulty was a good challenge and the multiplayer was great. It just needed a ranking system.

Biggest surprise: Kid Icarus. With 3D Land still the best 3DS game imo.

Biggest disappointment... infinite delays. This year I played Pokémon Conquest, Kid Icarus, Mario Tennis and I'm playing NSMB2 - none of them disappointed me so far.

Nintendo is bringing literally 100% of their games to the west so far, but it's so delayed. This holiday line up is mediocre - even with 2 games I really want (layton and paper mario). Black and White 2 are great - I'll get it too sometime soon - but it should not be used to inflate 3DS's holiday line up.

Least disappointing is Xenoblade. Heard great things about it, bought it, and loved it.

No most disappointing game. Only have bought one Nintendo game this year, but that will change soon.
