All in honesty, if they release halo 2 for the nextbox I'd buy the nextbox at launch.

vgchartz doesnt count digital and we can assume neither is MS.

OR, the article says "more then 46 million". The digital copies sold can encompass the "more".

So I have some explanations:

- A typo for the first number (or the second) - probable
- Microsft counted different games - less probable
- Halo series sold 3 million in the last 20 days (almost improbable)

Its a typo for the first one. Your the one who made a big deal about that 43 million overtracked news those weeks ago. Dont start again.

We can assume this news is accuracte because it is made on the eve of Halo 4 launch.

Lol, no chance. They pushed Halo 2 as a Windows Vista exclusive

PC games tend to be pirated.

More believable than uncharted series from 14 million to 17 million by 1 month

OT: Good for my favorite franchise. I think 343 is already taking it to a new epic level and I can't wait to see it further unfold.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Personally I was really happy seeing 343 being put together for this game.  They have great developers and they still have bungie members too.  I still think they are going to prove to be one of the best teams put together this generation.

Sony fans can't be blamed for thinking Halo was overtracked. The last statement said 43mil just a few months ago, while vgchartz had it at over 45mil. If say Gran Turismo had a similar disparity you could bet your ass a bunch of people would be screaming overtracked as well. Glad that figure turned out to be outdated or a typo. Hopefully Halo can continue to sell well because its my favorite console fps. Really interested to see if Halo 4 can outsell Halo Reach before the nextbox comes out.
