AWESOME. Wouldn't have said that years ago but I think Lucas is tired of Star Wars (it's basically run his life to some degree since '77) and it would be great to see someone fresh take it over. Disney could make a mess of it or it could be taken to a whole new level. I hope they get some of their Pixar talent involved.

I have more faith in Disney making a great Star Wars movie than I would in George making one. Normally I would hate the idea of a franchise changing hands like this but it's a testament to how far Star Wars fell under his control that I'm cautiously optimistic about this.
