Forums - General - Hurricane Sandy

A tree that is about 20 years old (I know how old it is because i have been living in the same place for 25 years) just collapsed in my driveway. LOL, the city came to chop it up and take it away, but the winds picked up so they left it there for later. I have never seen anything like this, the freaking house shakes when the wind picks up, like a goddamn earthquake.

How are you guys getting all of this information? I want links. :(

Yo! In the middle of the Hurricane (northern Virginia).

Been stuck at home all day. Erm... 50 mph wind, rainy. I dunno what else to say, really. Very hurricane-y.

I live in PA, so it's been raining all day and winds have been somewhat decent.

I don't know why people tell me to get a life. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!

about 40mph winds here atm, and the storm is coming closer by the minute.

I'm riding through it as I type, the winds ridiculous, powers been going off and on all day. seen a couple trees go down, never experienced anything like this in my life!!!

Honestly I'd be most worried about people in the New Jersey/New York area, they're most affected by the hurricane.
