That Origin deal being blown off by Nintendo rumour seems even more likely now. Though if it's just as good on Wii U I'll probably buy that version anyway.

Do not try to give reason to the many Nintendo conspiracy theorists on here, many have tried, all have failed, others lost limbs and many are now dead.

I LOL'ed at this.
The company in charge of the Wii U port of ME3 should fell betrayed or at least demotivated, they are making their best effort to produce an interesting title that it was already a hard sell at 60 dollars, and now EA decides to publish a collection of all 3 games for 60 dollars.
If only the collection would be more expensive, 100 dollars for all 3 games, or if the release date was next year...

The problem there is that if us regular folks here on this forum realize what a stupid move this is for EA, how is it possible that EA themselves don't realize what they're doing? Is it possible that a bunch of normal people can look at this situation and see that EA is clearly making a huge mistake, while the educated, professional producers and marketers at EA don't understand the consequences of their own strategy?
There are two possible answers to this question. The first is that the educated professionals at one of the biggest, most successful third-party developers in the business are secretly blithering idiots who are far less knowledgeable or aware of how their business works than every other person who knows anything about games.
The second possible answer is that EA knows exactly what they are doing. I remind you that they aren't one of the most successful third party developers for no reason, and encourage you to come to your own conclusion based on this logic.

so they should delay or charge more to appease some fans who feel a little butthurt?? Yeah that would be the best thing to do for the company and the fans of ME

How about if they just released the trilogy on Wii U instead of only ME3? The hard part is pretty much already done.

I never said they shouldnt, i think they should, but as of now they are not. People should just deal with it, why should PS360 owners suffer because some are tight that the trilogy might not get released on WII U??

The 360 and PS3 versions should not be changed at all. It's the Wii U version that's the problem. It's messed up of EA to ask Wii U owners to pay $60 for one game while asking PS360 owners the same amount for at least three times the content -- especially if someone owns a PS3 and is interested in Wii U. It's not good for EA, for Nintendo, or for Wii U owners. It makes no sense for them to do that.
I had no intention of buying Mass Effect 3 for Wii U. A trilogy, though, is something I can possibly get behind. I don't understand why EA wants to offer me Mass Effect 3 for $60 two weeks after offering my 360-owning friends the whole series for the same price. That's not how you win over customers, EA. The least they could do is release ME3 as a budget title for Wii U. Make it $30 instead or something. Make it SEEM like an alright deal.

They should charge more (more money for them? why not?), delay is another option, that way they don't sent a product to the market to fail. Is simple marketing, you don't sell 2 similar products at the same time one very inferior to the other one for the SAME price, you are killing one of the them without reason, you either delay the best one or charge more for it (less for the inferior one is another possibility but that would mean less money for EA).
