I didn't see the vid you linked to mate, but I'm guessing it's pointing out that when the 360 came out the games like kameo and battlefield looked barely a cut above the original xbox games at the end of it's life span, developers always get more and more out of hardware as the console has been around more and people are more familiar with it, very rarely do we see amazing games right off the bat at a consoles launch.
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Resistance: Fall of Man, Perfect Dark Zero.
If PS4/720 came out with slighly better looking versions of PS3/360 games it would be very dissapointing.
Some people see there's nothing graphically superior with the Wii U launch titles compared to what's currently in PS3 and 360, but forget that these are launch titles. They should look back to the launch titles of the systems and compare from there. It will only get better in time as is the nature of console cycles.
Of course the Wii U has more power than the PS3 and Xbox. As the YouTube videos of call of duty show it is leaps and bounds better than what the HD twins had at launch. However we don't live 6 years ago so this comparison is pointless. We need to compare the launch Wii U games with their competition today. This is where the Wii U appears to be just slightly stronger than the PS3 and Xbox. Fast forward a few years and with optimization Wii U games will have evolved past anything even remotely possible on today's systems. In time it will look like a "next generation" graphics powerhouse, just not at launch.
Probably around the time its games start to look blatantly better than the HD twins is when Microsoft and Sony will need their own next generations.
I hope this is legit! There shouldn't be any question whether or not WiiU is better than PS360 (unless you ask fanbois), the question is HOW much better is it? I'm still wondering about that.
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

No the video was demonstrating how the game on HD twins looks VERY close to Wii. Now compare the latest COD again Wii and it SHIT all over the Wii version.
In all honestly. Any multiplatform game released on WiiU and 360/PS3 I do nto expect to loo kmuch better, as well developers are essentially porting the game so why bother improving it significantly?
What will be interesting is to see a PC port come to Wii U (if it ever will) to see how that will look.
Nintnedo first party, well untill they stop making family frieldny games will never visually appeal to the hardcore game who is into FPS style games.
