| JoeTheBro said: Of course the Wii U has more power than the PS3 and Xbox. As the YouTube videos of call of duty show it is leaps and bounds better than what the HD twins had at launch. However we don't live 6 years ago so this comparison is pointless. We need to compare the launch Wii U games with their competition today. This is where the Wii U appears to be just slightly stronger than the PS3 and Xbox. Fast forward a few years and with optimization Wii U games will have evolved past anything even remotely possible on today's systems. In time it will look like a "next generation" graphics powerhouse, just not at launch. Probably around the time its games start to look blatantly better than the HD twins is when Microsoft and Sony will need their own next generations. |
No the video was demonstrating how the game on HD twins looks VERY close to Wii. Now compare the latest COD again Wii and it SHIT all over the Wii version.
In all honestly. Any multiplatform game released on WiiU and 360/PS3 I do nto expect to loo kmuch better, as well developers are essentially porting the game so why bother improving it significantly?
What will be interesting is to see a PC port come to Wii U (if it ever will) to see how that will look.
Nintnedo first party, well untill they stop making family frieldny games will never visually appeal to the hardcore game who is into FPS style games.
