Seeing as how the original slim with a price cut worked wonders, a similar move could have been a sure bet for staggering the Wii U this holiday.

I guess Sony's not in the best position to cut profit margins at the moment though.

No price drop? whats the point of this? actually this costs $10 more than the current slim. Sorry if im missing something please correct me if im wrong this doesn't seem right.

A lot of people will buy it for the new form factor even if it costs more.

You only save $10 bucks not a bad deal but not a good one either. 

Ah, so it's the old strategy of "hide a price cut through bundling." Given that PS3 sales are relatively healthy even now, I see this being a big hit over the holidays, perhaps even enough to challenge the Wii U. (A price cut could surely have done so)

I would hope after a slim model comes out that it would have more HDD at least that has been the pattern for this generation. AC3 is 60 seperatly so 250 + 60 is 310 vs the 300 you pay for the game and the system. How many months of PS+ you get with this bundle?

yes the initial price did go up, but the amount of value has gone up drasticly

So a price increase? Not what I expected.

I was wondering what MS might do to compete this holiday. I think the answer is nothing.
