Wait. What is going to be the best selling Vita game this year?

Persona left the top 30 with 194k. But since then had awesome legs in the top 50 (where sales are not published). It'still there actually

We'll see how they will clash at the end of the year annual sales charts. But I highly doubt Hatsune Miku will beat persona.

Project Diva can develop legs with a price cut (it was the case with Extend), the title is obviously too pricey for non-Miku fans. I really hope it will make it, I might not survive if this series doesn't. After Valkyria Chronicles, I don't want to see another great Sega series die...

They'll make another mainline game I'm sure. It'll just be on 3DS, not Vita.

I can nearly assure that this won't be the case. Especially considering the trend of the series.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

So is Little Big Planet  a niche title in Japan?

I'm wondering because no-one seems to be mentioning it.

I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

It is. On PSP it opened with 9k, managing 20k LTD.

On PS3, the first game did better - 47k opening and 111k total. The sequel collapsed, though... 30k LTD.

This proves that one game can't save a system, Sony desperately needs to keep the sales momentum.

I wouldn't be worried about that. It's too big to die.

The way I see it, they shot too high for this sequel. It features all new songs and what-else, and lots of them, right?

Next time they'll just tone down the game a little, instead of 30 songs, maybe 20, for example. Not the best solution, but an okay one, as long as they don't cripple the game. PS3 sales will help future games too.

In the worst scenario, sega could give up, but I'm betting other developers would line up to get the character.

Thank you for your kind words.

Yes, there are 32 all new songs. Actually a certain numbers of songs had been ported from 2nd to Extend, which was a bit useless, but if they can insert those in a future PSVita game it would already be a good solution given the ehanced graphics.

So much for the Vita being saved.

Who honestly expected this?

If anything it proved that Vita needs a library, and can be successful if it has games.

Notice this week is 14k where pre hatsune was 9k. It will be 3+ weeks before it gets close to that again. Ergo, as long as games keep coming out, the library will hold it at higher levels.

I was not expecting such a big drop for the Vita. I expected 18-22k sales for this week.

Also, NSMB 2's numbers...... I don't think that NSMB U's numbers will suffer the same as NSMB 2 but rather we will see SMB3-like numbers for it since from what I seen of it so far, NSMB U looks solid.

Same as persona 4 for vita. Also PS3 getting bad, needs releases. 3DS ok but not great.
