The way I see it, they shot too high for this sequel. It features all new songs and what-else, and lots of them, right?

Next time they'll just tone down the game a little, instead of 30 songs, maybe 20, for example. Not the best solution, but an okay one, as long as they don't cripple the game. PS3 sales will help future games too.

In the worst scenario, sega could give up, but I'm betting other developers would line up to get the character.

Yes, there are 32 all new songs. Actually a certain numbers of songs had been ported from 2nd to Extend, which was a bit useless, but if they can insert those in a future PSVita game it would already be a good solution given the ehanced graphics.
