The fact that he's said to of worked miracles (he has supernatural abilities) makes him less believable, because as far as we know the supernatural doesn't exist and miracles are impossible.

In my country the laws are made by me and my peers. Whenever the law is not adjusted to reality it gets revised and voted down or changed.

There are no dogmatic laws and they are all up for discussion. No one gets eternal penalty for breaking any of the laws, all penalties are finite. When you do wrong to someone you don't apologize to the country's dictator, you have to make amends with the person affected by your behaviour.

More... my country and it's laws actually exist. You don't have to believe in them by faith. The consequences are felt in the only life you're sure to have, not in an imaginary afterlife you may or may not have.

Not sure how you can compare those 2 things.

Let's put it like this, it seems pretty likely to me that if you talk to a hard core muslim he will point out exactly how you're going to hell according to the rules he believes. Somehow I think you'll be less than convinced by his 'warnings'.

So now take that feeling and apply it for the rest of us. Your little story about magic and gods and hells are just unconvincing fairytales for the rest of us and the time where they had any effect is long past. The age of science and reason has come to stay and you're just clinging on to a myth and way of thinking that has been long surpassed. Adjust or get left behind, those are your 2 choices.

I would believe it, if he came to me in a dream. But i'm sure if Jesus was alive now, he would not be happy with what's going on in the world, what with war, corruption and dictatorships. I'm atheist by the way, but I respect people beliefs.

Let me ask you this: Why on Earth would anyone believe that Jesus actually performed these miracles? All we have is a book which was obviously written by one or more people (and not even by Jesus himself), and the writer(s) obviously wanted to carry out a message. So why would we trust anything that is claimed in this book? The writer was the one who claimed that Jesus could perform miracles, not Jesus. You can't trust this source just like you can't trust someone who claims that he saw a ghost.

Like APM said: You would need extraordinary evidence to prove that Jesus could perform miracles. And at this point believing that Jesus can perform miracles is, in my opinion, not too different from believing that Harry Potter is performing magic at Hogwarts as we speak. Or at least the evidence perfectly equal.

Don't get me wrong though: Jesus did, according to the book, carry out an extremely valuable message which I wish more people would follow (namely that you should be a better example rather than fighting fire with fire), and I salute anyone, including my religious family, who lives by that message.

So Jesus did all the miracles in a time, where people could't record it properly with cameras, etc. And now, where we have all these things, no unexplainable miracles happen... Hmm...
