I wish someone (like Nintendo) would by the Banjo IP from Rare... If I could have only one single wish regarding the gaming industry, that would be a top contender...

Point 2 contradicts with point 1.
Point 3 is the only interesting one.
For everything else, it's time to move on. Now Nintendo fans have retro, they will become great and greater than the Rare of yore.
We never did get a good replacement for Banjo, which is maybe the greatest collect-a-thon game of all time.
Now I want to download the HD version off XBLA so I can show my wife

Retro is great, but to become greater than the Rare we knew from the 5th generation..well, at least in my opinion they´d have to release more games in a certain amount of time.
Rare was golden, they´d release one game every year
Diddy Kong Racing -- 1997
Banjo Kazooie -- 1998
Jet Force Gemini -- 1999
Banjo Tooie -- 2000
Conker´s Bad Fur Day -- 2001
Look at that!...imagine Retro doing that.
And I want another Blast Corps while I'm wishing
Blast Corps would be number one for me because first, I love that game, and second, a level could be zoomed out on the Gamepad screen highlighting all of the buildings and structures that need destroying while you play zoomed in on the TV.
For the other two games I'd say Banjo and Conker just because I want new ones.

Make that an average of TWO games per year! You don't even see alot of major 3rd party developers doing that these days.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Yeah, good point. Rare was pumping them out at an incredible rate. I don't see Retro doing that for some reason, they don't seem to be the type to like to reuse code and optimize their throughput.
