Forums - Sales - Is PS Vita SAVED In Japan?!!!

I think it shows that people don't hate the idea of the Vita. Quite frankly a game with such a niche appeal won't save the system but it shows that the future isn't that bad.

What it does show is that if Sony bring the games gamers will buy. But there needs to be more games like this. I think 2 or 3 of games with this level of popularity will mean PSV finally gets clear of PSP on a weekly basis. But I think there's more needed for PSV to get within range of peak PSP sales.

FFX HD will be the turning point, mark my words. Millions of Japanese will flock to the system.

There's something funny about the concept of Sega saving a floundering Sony platform.

The GameCube had its spikes now and again too, the Vita reminds me a lot of the GameCube in Japan.

FFX HD will be lucky to sell a million lol.

But that will be enough to cause a massive spike in Vita sales.

WAN MIRRION will be enough LOL it will get the ball rolling

The Vita can't be saved in Japan without simliar sales in Europe and America, its a global market, Sony will need U.S dollars and Euros to keep the Vita going.

It's ironic that euro is the one thing that hurts sony right now.

Millions of people will flock to a remaster of a game that only sold 2.73 million back in the day and is part of a brand that is considered to be past its prime?

Okay...

I personally imagine it will help a lot, but no more than, say, Ocarina 3D helped the 3DS.

When it gets a Harvest Moon title, it will be saved... For me, that is.
