Since Conegamer asked for criticism, I'll say that I think he's far to triggy-happy with the ban button (see the moderation of imaginlvl - or whatever his name is - as an example). This applies to many of the other new mods too. I'll give more examples when I get to a computer.

To be fair, if any of us were promoted mods, we'd like to try that "Ban" button as fast as possible.

Two questions was asked.  Very plainly typed out in the first post and then later on a different question.

Though the first is more of a recommendation

Oh, so you thought the post link thing was a question. I see. Nevermind.

Some yeah, but not all are the case.   Someone recently brought up making a petition against you all, which i have yet decided if i actually wanted to do.   But lets say if i did decide i wanted to, what would be the exact number of users you all would want for you all to actually listen?  I honestly feel you all will never just listen to one person but if there was a petition would you all then listen?  THat person said mayb 50 members, would that do it?

How can we give a serious reply to this when we dont know the details?

Tell us what the petition would be about and we can actually discuss it. Tell those people to post here with the problems they have. Tell us what we are doing wrong. Tell us why we are "driving people away".

Edit -

If you arent going to back up your statement or complaint with actual facts, questions or concerns other than giving vague responses that only make the situation more tense than it is - dont expect to get any feedback and dont expect any change to occur.

I'm not agreeing with that, but I understand where you're coming from. Do know that the vast majority of my bans, and that for other mods as well, are indeed discussed in the moderation chat.

Still, I've only been doing this for less than two months; and I'm happy to say I have made a couple of errors or mistakes, which I have apologized for (in this thread, even) and have learnt from. I have taken past criticisms from people here and in PM's on board, and as such things have improved. Can't speak for the other new mods, but I'm sure it's the same with them as well.

that's clearly flamebait. Implying a first party exclusive series would come to a competitor's console.

"will" instead of "would"
"when" instead of "if"

Seems Carl and Cone are being used as scapegoats since they are two of the more active mods new or not. As a result any team decisions behind the scenes they are taking blame for, this can easily be seen in Ravens ban over quote trees, and taco's refusal to accept that it is a modable offence as seen in this very thread.

Nation threads were a nice idea in theory but a headache in reality, comprising of mostly spam that has gotten far too much leniency and now that there are sufficient amount of mods to take these threads to task people are up in arms because boundaries which should have been followed to begin with are being reaffirmed.

Without knowing what the petition is about it comes across as extremely petty, these people can make a clandestine underground movement but can't post in a thread?

I think Carls been a great mod, what's he supposedly done wrong?

Cone and Kresnik almost never post in the PSNation thread

Is this a real problem though?

We dont need to post in threads to read them.
