You have to take a persons post history into account. 90% of the posts he makes are baiting, off topic rubbish. He should have been dealt with long before todays ban.

Obvious dig at Sony. Obvious deflecting, baiting comment. Doesnt matter if its the truth, the intentions are clear with every post he makes.

On another note, moderation on the whole is the same as its been for the last 6 Months.

There are odd blips, like kow's sensitive ban and Mr Khans meltdowns (yes, meltdowns not meltdown).

I still think 1 or 2 more mods should be put forward.

Its totally understandable. Not everyone is calm all the time and people can/do take debates on the Internet far too seriously. I should know, Ive been there myself (look at my mod history).

Like I said, there has always been blips in the moderation. Id advise a break from the site/the job if things are too much.

I'll cut my arm for axumblade, so I think they do great. Yes, I'm basing my opinion on one single person.

From what I have observed, 99% of moderated posts are from users who were being unnecessarily offensive, rude, baiting, etc, whether intentional or not. I don't know if people notice it but whenever there's a debate going on, there's usually a strong implicit aura of anger or condescension due to the way people phrase their words. Obviously this increases feelings of hostility and increases the chances of someone being moderated.

People can easily make opposing points without giving off a hostile vibe. It's really not that difficult and it actually increases the chances of others agreeing with you. When people follow this route there are rarely moderations handed out, as no one ever feels offended. It's really not that hard to avoid getting moderated.

Mr. Khan gave me a 5-day ban for this comment. Ridiculous. IMO he shouldn't be a mod when he is this biased.
