Radishhead's recent ban on kowenicki is borderline Maxwell.

It was handled poorly. Saying "10 Year Plan" isnt trolling at all. You wrote on kowens wall that you took action because a few people complained, those few people need thicker skin. Sony have always stated a 10 Year plan, and one of the reasons the Vita was so "powerful", was so it would last so long. 10 Year Plan is relevant, because its ALREADY been surpassed.

The number of complaints on his wall about the ban, even from the Sony fanbase shows how tedious the ban was.

The decision was discussed among the mods before action was taken, and a 1 day ban is very acceptable for a case such as Kowen's. Vita was never under a "10 year plan". That's why it's unacceptable for the thread - he's not quoting Sony, he's "quoting" the fans who believed that the Vita would gain support over time in a similar way to the PS3 and PSP. In this respect, he's mocking the Sony fanbase and therefore should have at least a little action taken against him (as has happened here). Both moderators and Koweniki himself can learn things from this event, I feel.

10 Year plan has been mentioned for the Vita, by John Koller snd others. All PlayStation platforms have had (and will have) this 10 Year plan. Its how SCE works. The company have had people saying things for and against the 10YP, but the fact remains its in the minds of Sony higher-ups.

If youve just admitted banning him for mocking the Sony fanbase, then Jesus. Youre gonna be a busy mod if youre dropping the hammer on people for "mocking".

Saying "10 year plan" isn't trolling and it isn't off topic. It was relevant to the topic because the topic itself was showing how the PS Vita's hardware had been overtaken by smartphones in under 1 year of it being on the market. It isn't trolling because it is a fact. Sony DO have a 10 year plan for the PS Vita. Facts are facts. If I said: "The Xbox 360 is only selling xxxk units worldwide every month...which is abysmal" this wouldn't be trolling either. Facts =/= trolling.

It was one of the first posts of the thread, and was setting a bad aura for the rest of the thread. As I said, I'm fairly sure that PSVita was never under a "10 year plan".

Mods always make mistakes, banning kowen is one of them. At least this time we have a mod who is willing to listen to your complaints, it's not that horrible really.
