Conegamer and another user are thinking I'm the one to contact with complaints about vgchartz posts made by members also on my site. That doesn't make any sense, so I'm "passing" the buck of responsibility to you.

I have taken part in threads like that before, mocking other people and laughing at past predictions. Its part of the site and I think to moderate people for it would be mighty hypocritical, at least on my part. If it starts to go beyond that line and gets a bit more personal, Id rather just lock it up and ruin the fun than hit people with warnings and/or bans.

That said... In any other thread during a normal discussion or debate he would probably have been moderated. I still disagree with letting pezus stay on that Nintendo alt too.

I agree, but particularly with this last bit. If pezus wishes to return, he should do so on his original account. He's not even trying to hide it anymore.

If you agree with the non bolded then why did you make this post?

pezus, however, created a major "farewell" thread and causing all sorts of deliberate drama to merely return and deny it without showing any improvement. To me, such behaviour does not deserve another account.

I agree that locking the thread was the correct move; but returning to the site to merely cause trouble is not going to slide. Pezus, however, has at least commented in several other threads since. 

That comment was more that if people do not wish to return to the site, then they shouldn't get involved in problems and threads which occur here; let alone make negative remarks about certain users.

Yeah I suppose that's a good point.

I guess I'm just biased. If good users like Pezus want to return then I'm just happy that they are back.

No I agree with you (as usual), if he wants to come back then he can. But perhaps he should return to his original account is all.

If it's not going to slide, then do something on vgchartz. You are a mod here.

 

"That comment" just causes trouble and nothing else.

Plus the only person making negative remarks about certain users over there is permabanned over here. Riderz did want to return to this site, but you kicked him out.

 

You're also preaching against your own actions.

Also, Carl handled that thread. I agree with his decision based on the circumstance. On this occasion it was decided to not ban, to just lock the thread; and that should be that.
